Why Steam?
REMOVE WRINKLES
Steaming quickly relaxes fabric and helps to restore its original shape.
Why Steam?
KILL GERMS and BACTERIA
The high temperature of steam kills odor-causing bacteria and germs and removes allergens that attract dust mites. Steaming will lift surface dirt and sweat residue, which helps eliminate odors from clothes.
Why Steam?
FRESHEN ITEMS between WASHES
Steaming is a fast, easy and gentle way to extend the life of your clothing. Most clothes that look "worn out" are actually over washed. Instead of washing after every wear, try steaming the item and letting it air out over night on a hanger.
Why Steam?
REDUCE DRY CLEANING
Dry cleaning garments, especially delicates like silk and wool, can lead to dehydration and degradation of fabric over time. Dry cleaners often use harsh chemicals on your clothes; whereas steamers use pure water. Try steaming your clothes before taking them to the dry cleaner to refresh and restore its shape.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I travel with my steamer?
Yes! The steamer is dual voltage, and will automatically accommodate both 100 and 230 volts. The steamer has a 3-prong North American plug. Be sure to have an adapter that fits this format and can accommodate at least 700 watts.
Why do some steamers spit water?
One common problem that may occur with steamers is mineral deposit caused by high mineral content in many municipal and well water supplies. Mineral residue inside the steamer can cause intermittent steam flow or, in some cases, no steam at all. We did extensive testing to minimize and try to eliminate this issue. Most tap water is acceptable, but if you experience spitting, stop steaming immediately and use distilled or demineralised water instead.
How is Wren different from other steamers?
Wren’s double-walled stainless steel construction sets it apart from all of the plastic steamers on the market. The insulated stainless steel makes it safe to grip and also makes Wren almost silent when boiling water. Wren's smart technology allows for it to turn off automatically when the reservoir is out of water and for automatic wattage conversion.
